The Mothers’ Union nativity set travels the Parish in the run up to Christmas. It stays with a different family each night as a reminder of Mary and Joseph searching for shelter. A knitted lamb is left at each home.

The travelling nativity set is such a lovely part of christmas for so many village children. My grandchildren have also looked after it when they have stayed with us from sussex. The gift of a knitted lamb to keep is such a nice thought. Many thanks to all Mothers’ Union knitters especially Joan.
