Bell Ringers

You can hear our bells here

Did you know that bell ringing is an activity that all the family can do together? We are always on the look out for new ringers to join us.

We currently practise on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 p.m. However, we would be very happy to start an earlier practice on an alternate day if enough people are interested.

For further information please contact Tony Grimmer on 01326 250787 or Lizzie Hoskins on 250874.

Open the Book

Open the Book is a project that offers primary school children an opportunity to hear the major stories of the Bible. Our team goes into our village school during Collective Worship to tell Bible stories in the distinctive Open the Book dramatised form.   We normally tell ten stories each term and there is always an enthusiastic welcome from the children, who are a ready to get involved when we need extras.  Wherever appropriate, we relate our stories to the school’s core values of compassion, respect, hope, peace, perseverance and trust.

We go in to school on a Thursday and meet to practise on the preceding Monday morning.  If you are interested in having a look at what we do, or even joining us, please contact Lizzie Hoskins on 01326 250874.

Home Groups

We have two home groups that meet for Bible study, friendship, prayer and tea drinking:

  • Monday afternoons – phone 01326 250726 for details
