Wednesday Services at St Michael at 10am:

30th August – Celtic Morning Prayer
Book of Common Prayer Communion Service The time of our traditional language Communion Service has changed from 8am to 9am. This service takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month. There is also a BCP Communion at 10am on each first Wednesday of the month.
Dog Show – Saturday 19th August, details are here
Wednesday Worship We are welcoming a new format for our schedule of midweek services. The third Wednesday of each month is now a more informal ‘Wednesday Worship’. Like our Celtic services, they will be followed by refreshments.
Pioneering Parishes – starting out: Thursdays at 7.30pm: 7 and 21 September, 5 and 19 October. A series of webinars from the Church Mission Society to help parishes start to move their energy outwards, become more pioneering and network with others. Some of the PCC are planning to take part, and would welcome others to join us. Ask Johanna for more details.
Meeters and Greeters Could you be part of the Welcoming Team who greet people as they arrive at Church on a Sunday morning? Please speak to Ian to learn more. Thank you.
Community Garden The gardeners are now meeting regularly at St Michael’s on Tuesdays from 2-4 and Saturdays from 10-12. Everyone is welcome – refreshments provided.
Reordering at St Michael’s the PCC voted to apply for a faculty (like planning permission) to remove the pews and install a kitchen area to make the Church more community friendly. We anticipate that it will take some time to get the details just right so that we can move on to the next stage of approval.
